His obsession with Shiuli and her well-being, while seemingly irrational, underscores the unpredictability of human emotions.  

Shiuli (Banita Sandhu):🌼

Though Shiuli spends most of the film in a coma, her presence looms large over the narrative. Banita Sandhu's performance, particularly in the initial moments, is marked by a quiet elegance that stays with Dan and the audience throughout. Her character is more symbolic, representing the fragility of life and how one moment can change everything. 

Cinematography and Direction:

Shoojit Sircar’s direction is understated, allowing the film to breathe and the emotions to linger. Avik Mukhopadhyay’s cinematography captures the changing seasons and the serene landscapes, complementing the mood of the film. The hospital scenes, in particular, are shot with an air of stillness, evoking a sense of helplessness and waiting.  

Soundtrack:

The music by Shantanu Moitra is minimal, with an emphasis on silence and ambient sounds rather than overtly emotional tracks. The sparse background score allows the audience to focus on the characters' internal journeys. The music, much like the film, is reflective and gentle, adding to the emotional depth of the narrative.
